Wow it has been almost a year since I updated this journal... sad... So I am ALMOST done school which means I can spend some time on Shrimp Pops! I really trying to expand by offering more stuff like stickers and pins, so bare with me! Also there are so many movies coming out this summer so I will try to keep up!

Special shout out to :iconsenshi-pageant: they are starting their 2014 Pageant and it is shaping up to be another great one! Stop by and give some love, or if you are a Sailor Moon fan as well maybe think about entering!

New TV Season!

September is here! And we all know that means the new TV season is about to begin (unless you're TheCW and decided to wait until October to premier all your shows...)! So I figured I'd maybe sit myself down and start doing some more art and focus on TV shows that are loved but that I have done zero art for. Here is a list of what I plan to work on:

- Game of Thrones
- Dexter
- True Blood
- Orphan Black
- Parks and Recreation
- Arrow
- Breaking Bad
- Son's of Anarchy

Those are kind of the bigs ones I get request for so I will try to get some art done for them! I'm not familiar with all the shows on the list, but I'll try my best to get the characters done properly.

2013 + new website!

Woah! Its 2013 (and this entry is like a month late...) but hope everyone had a good holiday and looking forward to the new year! As always I'm working on new Shrimp Pops and going to start focusing on movies to try and branch out a bit to get some new stuff up. So hopefully you'll all enjoy what I have in store.

In other news I have a new website up singingshrimp.taste-of-honey.n… in case anyone wants to check it out. I'm also up on tumblr shrimp-pops.tumblr.com/ I don't know how much I'll upload on tumblr, but I'm going to try and get stuff up there.

In sadder news... Young Justice was cancelled!!! So you may see a lot of new Young Justice Shrimp Pops posted as I rewatch the series in sorrow...

Every day I updated with a set of new Shrimp Pops based of television shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Glee, Smallville, Stargate SG-1 and many more! Over 125 Shrimp Pops were created over the course of 25 days and that number has continued growing thanks to the support of my friends and fans!

The title Shrimp Pops came from my art site Singing Shrimp and the term 'pop culture'.

My current Journal layout features Sailor Moon, Buffy Summers and Stephanie Brown/Batgirl III.

Gallery Reorganized

I spent the day redoing the entire gallery. I've reorganized everything into nice little sections so its now hopefully easier to sort and find stuff. Let me know your thoughts!

Got kinda bored with the current look so kinda went with something different. I'm currently doing an entire Sailor Moon marathon, so I'm in that mind set. So far I'm on Sailor Moon R (in case you were wondering). And I love Buffy and Steph Brown as Batgirl, so I went with a kick-ass blondes kind of theme I guess haha.

As for actual art, I'm working on it. I've slightly drifted from the request list to kind of make what I wanna make... But, I will try to finish up the actual request list :) And hopefully by September the request list will be reopened, just in time for the new TV season, which I'm excited about. Both Arrow and Elementary look amazing!

I don't even know where I've been. I recently moved into my own place and my new job has been crazy busy. I promise I am working on more Shrimp Pops! I swear. I wanna try to do monthly updates, so please stay tooned. Also if you noticed I've been MIA for a bit feel free to yell at me a bit! I am very forgetful sometimes!
